The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 2 Breeders Classic, which is due to run at Warwick Farm Racecourse this Saturday February 18, 2012.
13 horses have accepted for a spot in the 2012 Breeders Classic final field, however, Gybe has already been scratched from the race.
Included in the 2012 Breeders Classic is Foxstar, who will be having her first run of the autumn carnival in the race.
The five-year-old mare won her most recent two race starts during last year’s spring racing carnival, including a $100,000 handicap for mares on Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington.
The Galileo mare has won six of her 18 race starts and has earned more than $225,000 in prize money.
Foxstar has drawn barrier nine for the 2012 Breeders Classic and will be ridden by jockey Kathy O’Hara.
Beaded is also included in the 2012 Breeders Classic final field.
The six-year-old mare has drawn barrier five for the 2012 Breeders Classic and will be ridden by jockey Corey Brown.
Beaded will be looking to recreate the efforts of last winter, where she won the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 last May.
Montana Flyer, Steps In Time and Galizani are also included in the 2012 Breeders Classic final field and barrier draw.
