Breeders Classic

Nominations and weights have been released for the Group 2 Breeders Classic, which is due to run at Warwick Farm Racecourse this Saturday February 18, 2012.

Included in the 2012 Breeders Classic nominations is Peter Snowden’s Beaded, who will be having her first-up start for the autumn in the race.

Beaded has won ten of her 22 race started and has earned more than $1.5 million in prize money during her impressive horse racing career.

The six-year-old mare won the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 in Brisbane last May before finishing a close second in both the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap and the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara.

The Lonhro mare has been allocated the top weight of 58 kilograms for the 2012 Breeders Classic and has the number one ballot spot for the race.

Also included in the 2012 Breeders Classic nominations is six-year-old mare Vintedge.

The Flying Spur mare, who is trained at Rosehill by Chris Waller,  will also be having her first autumn start in the 2012 Breeders Classic.

Vintedge has won six of her 37 race starts and has earned more than $535,000 in prize money.

The mare won her last start in the Group 2 Matriarch Stakes in November 2011 and will carry 57 kilograms in the 2012 Breeders Classic.

Montana Flyer, Galizani, Paprika, Red Tracer and Jersey Lily are also included in the 2012 Breeders Classic nominations.
